Crystal Mods
Eternal Sonata Clear Save (PS3)
Unlocks SECOND Encore Mode (PS3 / USA)
In this game, Encore mode is a NG+ challenge mode. This however, is a NG++ save, sometimes called Second Encore. Very few people know about it from google searches, but it's both even harder then Encore mode, and lets you get everything, as you can get both NG exclusive items and Encore mode exclusive items, if your playing Second Encore. You CANNOT carryover Lvs, skills, stats, gear, etc. Ontop of this mode being a requirement for one of the two postgame dungeons (Church of EZI), the provided save has all 4 costumes, all 32 score pieces, both of which do carry over. The costumes are purly cosmetic, and both some costumes and some score pieces are permanently missable in a normal playthrough, so carryover reduces how much you need to obsess on following a guide. Also, not only is loads of equipment and sidequests encore mode exclusive, but a few skills are as well.

Normally, the game has 6 different party levels (battle systems) you advance to as the game progresses. In encore mode however, you can swap to any of them at any time from the menu. If you want to play by standard rules and are confused about where party lv 6 is, its "normally" acquired by beating the first boss of Mysterious Union (post game). As for postgame dungeon order, do Mysterious Union first, thenthe encore mode exclusive Church of Ezi.

To use save files, load Eternal sonata and make one first. Hit new game, skip a lot of cutscenes, and on the very first screen, walk left a little and theres a save point before the first battle. In RPCS3, go to Manage-> Save Data, click the save file you made and go to the folder. Go back a folder, then drop the included BLUS folder next to the existing one. Ingame, the clear save will be in slot 5.

If you wonder why Crescendo and Serenade seem a little strong, it's because their new to the PS3 version of the game.

I recommend using this guide for encore mode:

PS: This JRPG is multiplayer, upto 3 players. Kinda like a Tales of series game! :0
PPS: If you wonder just how popular encore mode is as a challenge, try searching encore on the gamefaqs page. 13 PAGES of results! WHOA!
If your looking to "play fair", after starting a new game in Second Encore, open the menu and go to the 4th menu (Party level) and reduce it to Lv1. Lv6 is a postgame unlock, and gets carried over. Thankfully encore mode lets you swap the party level whenever you want. Also, try beating the game without using poison, its a lot harder. Poison is hella broken lol.
